This page explains the cookies and browser storage used by Puzzark. Some are created only when you use the corresponding feature.

Shopping cart storage
The key puzzark-cart in your browser’s local storage remembers product and volume selections. It has no automatic expiry and remains until the cart is cleared or updated, or you remove the website’s stored data. This storage supports the cart; it is separate from our statistics.
Aggregate statistics
Our book, shop and game counters do not set analytics cookies or store a visitor identifier. They record daily totals for content views, selected filters and actions. Search text is not recorded. The counters are not linked to accounts, orders or saved game progress.
Do Not Track (DNT) disables this measurement. Global Privacy Control (GPC) alone does not disable these internal counters: they involve no sale or sharing of personal data for advertising. Details appear in our Privacy Policy.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 measures visits to public pages only after you accept analytics in our consent panel. Refusing does not restrict access to the site. Before acceptance, its script is not loaded and no analytics request is sent to Google by this integration.
After acceptance, Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. We configure these cookies to expire after up to 180 days without extending their expiry on each visit. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.
The local-storage key puzzark-analytics-consent remembers acceptance or refusal for 180 days. It contains your choice and its date, not a visitor identifier. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change your choice. Withdrawal stops this integration’s measurement and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. If browser storage is blocked, your choice lasts only for the current page session.

Cloudflare security services
Our website uses Cloudflare for traffic delivery and protection. Depending on the security features enabled and any challenges presented, Cloudflare may set security cookies such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance. Their presence and duration depend on the configuration; they are not our aggregate analytics cookies. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation.
Services you choose to open
Stripe checkout, Amazon links and optional sign-in providers may use their own cookies when you use those services. Their own policies apply. Amazon links may include an affiliate tag identifying Puzzark.
Manage your browser settings
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser’s site settings. Removing them may sign you out, clear your cart or reset your preferences. Blocking functional storage can prevent some features from working.
